Construction of a contemporary mansion
- Surface: 160m²
- Style: Tradition meets modernity
Although it is a recent construction, this house was designed in the spirit of a manor house, adapted to the needs of a young couple and their children.
Upon crossing the threshold, the great ceiling height reveals the soul of the house. A generously proportioned bay window floods the living area with natural light, bathing the day space in a gentle and soothing brightness.
The architect skilfully played with volumes and perspectives to offer a subtle separation between spaces dedicated to the family and those reserved for guests. The aim? To preserve zones of privacy while encouraging interactions.
The ratchet staircase, the showpiece of the house, conceals a secret passage, adding a touch of mystery and enchantment to this family home.
Every corner was designed to integrate harmoniously with its surroundings. The stone walls echo the robustness and permanence of local construction, while the raw concrete finishes evoke terraces shaped by time and human endeavour.
Finally, the numerous openings create a genuine connection with the surrounding nature, offering exceptional panoramas while filtering out noise.
