Interior design of a loft in an historic building

Les propriétaires nous ont contacté dans le cadre d’une prestation de conseil avant-achat immobilier avant de nous confier la conception et le suivi de chantier de cette rénovation complète.
L’objectif de cette réhabilitation consister à épurer et optimiser les espaces tout en conservant le caractère unique du lieu. Il fallait notamment ouvrir complètement le niveau supérieur et créer un espace nuit avec deux chambres confortables.
L’architecte d’intérieur a suggéré l’installation d’une verrière atelier qui renforce la sensation de volume et de luminosité dans les espaces de vie.
Le choix d’un traitement minimaliste en matière de couleurs a permis de mettre en évidence les matériaux d’origine du bâtiment, notamment la pierre et le bois. Des matériaux contemporains ont néanmoins été intégrés (le métal et le verre) pour apporter une touche de modernité.
Enfin, l’architecte d’intérieur a créé une vaste bibliothèque sur mesure qui structure l’espace du loft et apporte une touche de dynamisme.

The owners contacted us as part of a pre-purchase advisory service before entrusting us with the design and site supervision of this complete renovation.
The aim of this rehabilitation was to refine and optimise the spaces while preserving the unique character of the building. In particular, the upper level had to be fully opened up and a sleeping area with two comfortable bedrooms created.
The interior designer suggested installing a workshop-style glazed partition that enhances the sense of volume and luminosity in the living spaces.
The choice of a minimalist colour treatment made it possible to highlight the original materials of the building, particularly the stone and wood. Contemporary materials were nonetheless incorporated (metal and glass) to add a touch of modernity.
Finally, the interior designer created a vast bespoke bookcase that structures the loft space and adds a dynamic touch.
